# Staslink vs Satellite Tracker ISS Live Map

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Staslink at 20K against Satellite Tracker ISS Live Map's 462. Staslink also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). Satellite Tracker ISS Live Map's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Staslink sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Satellite Tracker ISS Live Map sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Satellite Tracker ISS Live Map holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Staslink has 20K ratings behind it against 462, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Staslink's written reviews are positive against 52% of Satellite Tracker ISS Live Map's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Staslink ships an update every 2 months, Satellite Tracker ISS Live Map monthly. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
