# Lu's vs Roti

Lu's and Roti both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of Lu's's written reviews are positive against 28% of Roti's. Roti's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (2K vs 113). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Lu's against 4.8 for Roti. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roti has 2K ratings behind it against 113, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of Lu's's written reviews are positive against 28% of Roti's.

Lu's ships an update every 13 months, Roti weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
