# RVLock Keyless vs Surge Guard

The clearest difference is rating: RVLock Keyless at 3.0 against Surge Guard's 1.5. Surge Guard's advantage is ratings volume (90 vs 6) and review sentiment (11% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RVLock Keyless holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Surge Guard has 90 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of RVLock Keyless's written reviews are positive against 11% of Surge Guard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RVLock Keyless ships an update every 2 months, Surge Guard monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
