# Bookmory vs HopefulHeartbreakers

The clearest difference is ads: HopefulHeartbreakers at none against Bookmory's shown. HopefulHeartbreakers also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Bookmory's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 9) and update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bookmory sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month and HopefulHeartbreakers sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HopefulHeartbreakers holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bookmory has 16K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bookmory ships an update every 5 days, HopefulHeartbreakers monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
