# Bookmory vs Nous

The clearest difference is ads: Nous at none against Bookmory's shown. Bookmory's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 1) and chart position (#120 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bookmory sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month and Nous sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nous holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bookmory has 16K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bookmory ships an update every 6 days, Nous weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
