# BaOui vs Language Learning

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BaOui at 100% against Language Learning's 25%. BaOui also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Language Learning's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 8) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BaOui sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Language Learning sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BaOui holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Language Learning has 16K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of BaOui's written reviews are positive against 25% of Language Learning's.

BaOui ships an update fortnightly, Language Learning every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
