# Crew Counter vs Score Realms

The clearest difference is rating: Crew Counter at 5.0 against Score Realms's 4.1. Crew Counter also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (14.1 vs 16.1). Score Realms's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (78% vs 67%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Score Realms sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Crew Counter asks for nothing beyond the download.

Crew Counter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Score Realms has 25 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Crew Counter's written reviews are positive against 78% of Score Realms's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Crew Counter ships an update every 3 months, Score Realms every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
