# TheGreatGame vs StrideTV

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TheGreatGame at 75% against StrideTV's 0%. TheGreatGame also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 8) and iOS requirement (14.1 vs 16.0). StrideTV's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TheGreatGame sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and StrideTV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StrideTV holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TheGreatGame has 1.1K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of TheGreatGame's written reviews are positive against 0% of StrideTV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TheGreatGame ships an update every 3 weeks, StrideTV monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
