# Epic Marble Run vs Bead Tower

The clearest difference is rating: Bead Tower at 4.7 against Epic Marble Run's 2.9. Bead Tower also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 12). Epic Marble Run's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 18) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bead Tower sells 18 one-off in-app purchases. Epic Marble Run asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bead Tower holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bead Tower has 1.4K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Epic Marble Run's written reviews are positive against 11% of Bead Tower's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Epic Marble Run ships an update fortnightly, Bead Tower every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
