# Ikes vs Walling

Ikes and Walling both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of Ikes's written reviews are positive against 63% of Walling's. Walling's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (323 vs 30). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ikes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Walling sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $59.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Ikes against 4.7 for Walling. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Walling has 323 ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of Ikes's written reviews are positive against 63% of Walling's.

Ikes ships an update every 2 weeks, Walling every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
