# Ikes vs Breveto

The clearest difference is monetization model: Ikes at free with in-app purchases against Breveto's subscription. Ikes also leads on review sentiment (93% vs 65%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ikes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Breveto sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Ikes against 4.6 for Breveto. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 30 and 8 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of Ikes's written reviews are positive against 65% of Breveto's.

Ikes ships an update every 2 weeks, Breveto every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
