# Ikes vs Direct Shot

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ikes at every 2 weeks against Direct Shot's every 6 weeks. Ikes also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ikes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Direct Shot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ikes ships an update every 2 weeks, Direct Shot every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
