# R&R BBQ vs Swipe Eats

R&R BBQ and Swipe Eats both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Swipe Eats's written reviews are positive against 62% of R&R BBQ's. Swipe Eats also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). R&R BBQ's advantage is ratings volume (4K vs 8) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for R&R BBQ against 5.0 for Swipe Eats. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: R&R BBQ has 4K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of R&R BBQ's written reviews are positive against 100% of Swipe Eats's.

R&R BBQ ships an update fortnightly, Swipe Eats every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
