# Tarot Tap vs Sync

The clearest difference is monetization model: Tarot Tap at free with in-app purchases against Sync's subscription. Tarot Tap also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tarot Tap sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Sync sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tarot Tap ships an update fortnightly, Sync every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
