# Tarot Tap vs GemSeer

The clearest difference is rating: Tarot Tap at 4.6 against GemSeer's 3.0. Tarot Tap also leads on review sentiment (81% vs 50%) and ratings volume (49 vs 2). GemSeer's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tarot Tap sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and GemSeer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tarot Tap holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tarot Tap has 49 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of Tarot Tap's written reviews are positive against 50% of GemSeer's.

Tarot Tap ships an update fortnightly, GemSeer every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
