# Edunext Parent vs Goenkans

The clearest difference is rating: Goenkans at 5.0 against Edunext Parent's 4.3. Goenkans also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). Edunext Parent's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (106 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Goenkans holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Edunext Parent has 106 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Edunext Parent ships an update fortnightly, Goenkans every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
