# RK vs Waymaker

The clearest difference is price: RK at Free against Waymaker's $14.99. RK also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Waymaker's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). On ratings volume, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

RK is free to download; Waymaker costs $14.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RK holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 18 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of RK's written reviews are positive against 100% of Waymaker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RK ships an update every 5 months, Waymaker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
