# Frico Control vs School

The clearest difference is update cadence: School at every 3 weeks against Frico Control's every 4 months. School also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Frico Control ships an update every 4 months, School every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
