# PDFelement vs iPDF

The clearest difference is ads: iPDF at none against PDFelement's shown. iPDF also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 76%). PDFelement's advantage is ratings volume (7.6K vs 3). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDFelement sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and iPDF sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for PDFelement against 4.7 for iPDF. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDFelement has 7.6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of PDFelement's written reviews are positive against 100% of iPDF's.
