# Chat vs Now!

The clearest difference is ads: Chat at none against Now!'s shown. Chat also leads on iOS requirement (10.3 vs 15.6). Now!'s advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Chat ships an update every 3 months, Now! every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
