# Nolog VPN vs Secure VPN Proxy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Secure VPN Proxy at 85% against Nolog VPN's 18%. Secure VPN Proxy also leads on ratings volume (4.6K vs 590). Nolog VPN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nolog VPN sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Secure VPN Proxy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nolog VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Secure VPN Proxy has 4.6K ratings behind it against 590, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Nolog VPN's written reviews are positive against 85% of Secure VPN Proxy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nolog VPN ships an update every 2 months, Secure VPN Proxy monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
