# SimplyLog vs Quick Note

The clearest difference is update cadence: Quick Note at every 4 days against SimplyLog's every 8 days. SimplyLog's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SimplyLog sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Quick Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SimplyLog ships an update every 8 days, Quick Note every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
