# Urban VPN vs SuStash

The clearest difference is update cadence: SuStash at every 3 days against Urban VPN's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Urban VPN sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and SuStash sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Urban VPN ships an update every 3 weeks, SuStash every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
