# Convert Text vs Text Workflow

The clearest difference is update cadence: Text Workflow at fortnightly against Convert Text's every 13 months. Text Workflow also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (177 vs 42). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Convert Text sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Text Workflow sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Text Workflow holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 42 and 177 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Convert Text's written reviews are positive against 95% of Text Workflow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Convert Text ships an update every 13 months, Text Workflow fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
