# Flood Alert Watcher vs Earthquake Tracker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Earthquake Tracker at 75% against Flood Alert Watcher's 13%. Earthquake Tracker also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (77 vs 5). Flood Alert Watcher's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flood Alert Watcher sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Earthquake Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flood Alert Watcher holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Earthquake Tracker has 77 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Flood Alert Watcher's written reviews are positive against 75% of Earthquake Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flood Alert Watcher ships an update every 3 weeks, Earthquake Tracker every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
