# HOBOconnect vs Control Feed

The clearest difference is rating: Control Feed at 4.3 against HOBOconnect's 2.2. HOBOconnect's advantage is ratings volume (29 vs 3) and review sentiment (8% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Control Feed holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HOBOconnect has 29 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of HOBOconnect's written reviews are positive against 0% of Control Feed's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HOBOconnect ships an update every 6 weeks, Control Feed every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
