# Thrift2U vs Thrifted

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Thrifted at 100% against Thrift2U's 26%. Thrifted also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). Thrift2U's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Thrift2U holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thrift2U has 2.6K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Thrift2U's written reviews are positive against 100% of Thrifted's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Thrift2U ships an update every 4 months, Thrifted weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
