# Thrift2U vs Oxpecker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Oxpecker at every 3 weeks against Thrift2U's every 4 months. Oxpecker also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Thrift2U ships an update every 4 months, Oxpecker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
