# Osmind vs Deer Hollow

The clearest difference is rating: Deer Hollow at 3.7 against Osmind's 3.0. Osmind's advantage is ratings volume (105 vs 3) and review sentiment (19% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Deer Hollow holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Osmind has 105 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Osmind's written reviews are positive against 0% of Deer Hollow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
