# KJV Apocrypha vs TORAH

The clearest difference is rating: KJV Apocrypha at 4.6 against TORAH's 3.2. KJV Apocrypha also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 56). TORAH's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KJV Apocrypha sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. TORAH asks for nothing beyond the download.

KJV Apocrypha holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KJV Apocrypha has 1.3K ratings behind it against 56, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of KJV Apocrypha's written reviews are positive against 51% of TORAH's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KJV Apocrypha ships an update every 2 months, TORAH every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
