# The Rewinder vs Mindcop

The clearest difference is rating: Mindcop at 4.5 against The Rewinder's 3.8. Mindcop also leads on ratings volume (382 vs 15). The Rewinder's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Rewinder sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Mindcop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mindcop holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindcop has 382 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of The Rewinder's written reviews are positive against 46% of Mindcop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Rewinder ships an update every 5 days, Mindcop every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
