# KODAI vs Midify

The clearest difference is rating: Midify at 4.5 against KODAI's 2.2. Midify also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (50% vs 21%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KODAI sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Midify sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Midify holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Midify has 53 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. KODAI ships an update weekly, Midify every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
