# Yu vs Snap! Damage Calc

The clearest difference is rating: Yu at 4.7 against Snap! Damage Calc's 4.0. Yu also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). Snap! Damage Calc's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 weeks) and review sentiment (90% vs 64%). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Snap! Damage Calc sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Yu asks for nothing beyond the download.

Yu holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yu has 2.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Yu's written reviews are positive against 90% of Snap! Damage Calc's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yu ships an update every 5 weeks, Snap! Damage Calc every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
