# ProTouch Staff vs Plagit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Plagit at weekly against ProTouch Staff's every 4 months. ProTouch Staff's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ProTouch Staff ships an update every 4 months, Plagit weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
