# NOC Academy vs ERIC

The clearest difference is update cadence: ERIC at every 3 weeks against NOC Academy's every 3 months. ERIC also leads on iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NOC Academy ships an update every 3 months, ERIC every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on March 14, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
