# The Wallpaper App vs PupPortrait

The clearest difference is rating: PupPortrait at 5.0 against The Wallpaper App's 4.3. The Wallpaper App's advantage is ratings volume (2.3K vs 2) and iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Wallpaper App sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and PupPortrait sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PupPortrait holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Wallpaper App has 2.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
