# Satellite Tracker Pro vs SkyFi App

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Satellite Tracker Pro at none against SkyFi App's 5. Satellite Tracker Pro also leads on review sentiment (72% vs 56%). SkyFi App's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 11 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SkyFi App sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Satellite Tracker Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

SkyFi App holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 67 and 101 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Satellite Tracker Pro's written reviews are positive against 56% of SkyFi App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Satellite Tracker Pro ships an update every 11 months, SkyFi App fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
