# Satellite Tracker Pro vs Satellite Dish

The clearest difference is rating: Satellite Dish at 5.0 against Satellite Tracker Pro's 4.3. Satellite Dish also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 11 months). Satellite Tracker Pro's advantage is ratings volume (67 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Satellite Dish holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Satellite Tracker Pro has 67 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Satellite Tracker Pro ships an update every 11 months, Satellite Dish every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
