# Fext vs Kyew

The clearest difference is monetization model: Kyew at freemium against Fext's subscription. Kyew also leads on review sentiment (49% vs 24%) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). Fext's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fext sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Kyew sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kyew holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 550 and 302 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 24% of Fext's written reviews are positive against 49% of Kyew's.

Fext ships an update every 5 days, Kyew every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
