# Fext vs Reminder Text

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Reminder Text at 78% against Fext's 24%. Reminder Text also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Fext's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fext sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Reminder Text sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
