# Fext vs PingPong

The clearest difference is rating: PingPong at 5.0 against Fext's 4.0. PingPong also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 16). Fext's advantage is ratings volume (550 vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fext sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. PingPong asks for nothing beyond the download.

PingPong holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fext has 550 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fext ships an update every 5 days, PingPong every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
