# Spreadsheet vs SunTable

Spreadsheet and SunTable both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 72% of Spreadsheet's written reviews are positive against 33% of SunTable's. Spreadsheet also leads on ratings volume (6.1K vs 92) and device support (5 vs 3). SunTable's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spreadsheet sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and SunTable sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SunTable holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spreadsheet has 6.1K ratings behind it against 92, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Spreadsheet's written reviews are positive against 33% of SunTable's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
