# Spreadsheet vs XLSX Reader & Editor

The clearest difference is rating: Spreadsheet at 4.5 against XLSX Reader & Editor's 3.0. Spreadsheet also leads on ratings volume (6.1K vs 2) and device support (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spreadsheet sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and XLSX Reader & Editor sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spreadsheet holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spreadsheet has 6.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
