# Gulpes vs Deep Belief

The clearest difference is rating: Deep Belief at 4.7 against Gulpes's 4.1. Deep Belief also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (30 vs 10). Gulpes's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 67%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gulpes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per 3 months and Deep Belief sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Deep Belief holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 30 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Gulpes's written reviews are positive against 67% of Deep Belief's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gulpes ships an update every 3 weeks, Deep Belief every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
