# Planafy vs Guest

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Planafy at 100% against Guest's 6%. Planafy also leads on rating (5.0 vs 1.5) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Guest's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Planafy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Planafy has 171 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Planafy's written reviews are positive against 6% of Guest's.

Planafy ships an update fortnightly, Guest every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
