# Save the Date! vs Date Simulator

The clearest difference is rating: Save the Date! at 4.5 against Date Simulator's 3.0. Save the Date! also leads on ratings volume (28K vs 20). Date Simulator's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Save the Date! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Date Simulator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Save the Date! holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Save the Date! has 28K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Save the Date!'s written reviews are positive against 50% of Date Simulator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
