# Acknowledgement vs OTTplay

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Acknowledgement at none against OTTplay's 10. Acknowledgement also leads on ads (none vs shown). OTTplay's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OTTplay sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Acknowledgement asks for nothing beyond the download.

Acknowledgement ships an update every 3 months, OTTplay every 11 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
