# Q8 Karting vs TryCar

The clearest difference is rating: Q8 Karting at 5.0 against TryCar's 2.3. Q8 Karting also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). TryCar's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Q8 Karting holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TryCar has 17 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Q8 Karting ships an update every 7 months, TryCar every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
