# PrepFE vs A

The clearest difference is rating: PrepFE at 2.6 against A's 1.0. PrepFE also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1). A's advantage is update cadence (every 8 months vs every 36 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PrepFE sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and A sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PrepFE holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PrepFE has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 0% and 0% positive.

PrepFE ships an update every 36 months, A every 8 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
