# PrepFE vs FE NCEES Practice Test

The clearest difference is rating: PrepFE at 2.6 against FE NCEES Practice Test's 1.0. PrepFE also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1). FE NCEES Practice Test's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PrepFE sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and FE NCEES Practice Test sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PrepFE holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PrepFE has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
